Just thought I'd tell you about my experience with the Robin
Hood
Harley-Davidson dealership today (where I bought my Road
King).
I phoned them yesterday to tell them that I'd had Silverstone
H/D fit a couple of new tyres, and that when they'd come
to balance the front wheel they couldn't because the wheel
was a bit out of shape and I was calling them (because of
the distance) to see what, if anything, they were prepared
to do about it, they wanted to see the bike before making
a decision so I took it up there today (along with Mark
who phoned yesterday to see if they would service his bike,
unbelievably they said they'd do it while we waited, and
it cost less than the Dealerships down here).
The
result of the visit, they found that one of the brake disks
had warped, they will pick up the bike from my house and
take it back to Nottingham, then send the wheel off to a
specialist to be re trued, replace the brake disk and deliver
it back to me all without charge.
Bloody marvellous, they made us loads of hot chocolate and
tea and made us feel like they really valued our business,
I'll definitely be giving them my business in the future.
